Hey hey dA,

A new journal entry to announce my new serie of 5 pictures (maybe more) entitled: Dying House.
These pictures show an empty house, already very damaged, just a day before its destruction. This house stands in front of mine; actually two lovely houses are going to be demolished very soon (normally tuesday 27/07) and a block of flats will be built instead. Workers came like a month ago to take up the recoverable materials before really destroying the houses, but they found some asbestos has been used to isolate one of the house, so they totally stopped the demolition for some times. But now it's over, tomorrow morning the workers will came back with their machines and destroy the houses.

That's very sad because these houses were cute and in good condition, I've always known my neighborhood with it, it's a very quiet district, and now we're gonna have 18 months of construction, noise, dust etc... :/

Anyway, thus the area around the construction site was forbidden to public, I decided to go for the first and last time in one of the house, to explore it and take some shots. I actually took nearly 50 pictures, for my private archives but I thought some would have their place here on my gallery.

I did some light/constrast/saturation modifications to put an "end-of-the-world-abandonned-house" ambiance. And, while I was doing this, I thought that it would be interessting and funny to imagine short pieces of story in touch with those places.
So, this is the main point of this entry: I will do updates as soon as a new text will be written. The picture and the text will be featured just on the left of this page, next to this journal.
